TreadGaming v2 Research Mode

Hey!

I just wanted to make a quick post saying that this TreadGaming project of mine has been very fun to work with and I had a new sparkle to work towards doing TreadGaming v2.

I'm currently in "research mode", finding hardware and thinking about what to do to make this new version even better and easier than previous version. If you have ideas/suggestions or any feedback, please do let me know over at treadgaming@gmail.com

What is this?

I'm working on a USB device that will enable you to use any computer (running Windows, Linux, Mac OS) (console support comes later) and a unit (treadmill, bike) where the surface moves. With this USB device you will then be able to, for instance, move a character in a game. Typically you use a treadmill and a FPS game, and will then with this device move the character in the game, having your speed on the treadmill mapped to the character in the game!
